SPINE2-COMPLEXES Tracker

Work carried out by partners in the SPINE2 consortium is reported to a central Tracker that allows the overall progress of SPINE2-COMPLEXES to be reported and publicised. It also provides a repository of information that can be used in various ways to support the overall aims of the project, for example in identifying potential collaboration points between partners, and optimising the technological approaches used during the project. It is not the primary repository for experimental data, which will continue to be held by the institution carrying out the experimental workflow; the Tracker stores a record of the data at the required level for the project's needs.

Searching the Tracker

A certain amount of information is available for public searching, both during the experimental progress and at the point where a structure has been determined and published. At publication the contributing institution can choose to make all relevant information public, if they feel it does not impact on ongoing work on other related complexes. The level of progress is always visible to public users, but details (for example, the specific regions of the target proteins that are being used) remain confidential until released to specific other partners or to the public.

You can search the data in the Tracker in a number of ways:

Updating Tracker information

Partners participating in SPINE2-COMPLEXES can log in from any part of the Tracker (incuding this page) using the "LOGIN" menu item at the top of the page, to give access to additional functions. If you are registered as a full or associate partner in SPINE2, log in now to access any of the functions below:

  • Add a target
  • Create virtual targets
  • Create expression vector
  • Update experimental progress
  • Perform BLAST search on targets
